Acquisition and Electronic Resources
The Acquisition and Electronic Resources librarians take part in designing the collection development policies, and they are responsible for acquiring library materials according to the library budget policies.
Each department of the Life Sciences and Medicine Faculties has a representative who serves as a liaison between the department and the library. The representatives recommend new titles to the library in coordination with the departments.
Every year e-journals, printed journals, textbooks required for courses, and research books are acquired subject to library budgetary limits. Orders for books are processed continuously. Journals and series are purchased once a year.
