Bibliographic Information Management Tools

Bibliographic information management tools are efficient and convenient means for managing personal databases of bibliographic records (citations) and documents.

These tools allow you to create citations and bibliographic lists in various styles and easily integrate references and footnotes. Some of the tools also enable information sharing.

There are several bibliographic information management software.
Here are some examples:

Sciwheel (F1000Workspace) – Internet software that allows synchronization of citations between the document and the Internet. Accessible to the Tel Aviv University community.

EndNote – Desktop software (can be purchased) synchronizing citations from the desktop to the Internet.

EndNote Web – An internet software, an online version, and only part of EndNote. It is accessible to the Tel Aviv University community through the Web of Science.

Mendeley is an Internet software that allows synchronization of citations between the document and the Internet.

Zotero – Free Internet software.
