Lib+ Technology Lab
The Lab’s printers
Our printers use the most popular FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) 3D printing technology. This technology is commonly used to create prototypes, illustrative models, and functional parts. The printing materials are diverse and have different properties (flexibility, strength, and durability). The printing material will be chosen according to the purpose of the model.
3D printing cost
Pricing for print jobs will be calculated, aiming to minimize the overall cost, taking into consideration the requested model’s complexity, the material type, and the amount needed.

Please note that some models on these sites may include a fee to download and use.
Delivery time of the finished model
Typical printing time for models is 14 work days. This period may vary depending on the complexity of the model, technical issues, and prior print jobs.
Collecting the finished model
The models can be collected from the Technology Lab during operating hours: Sunday-Thursday between 11:00 and 17:00. Or from the Circulation desk with prior notice.
Sending a 3D print request
*The service is offered to all students, researchers, and university faculty members, but priority will be given to requests from the Life Sciences and Medicine faculties.
*Models can be printed for personal use, but priority will be given to printing models for research and learning.
*The library reserves the right to reject any printing models at its discretion.
